Last week I only worked one day here at Esente because my other two days, I was getting scuba diving certified and couldn't be here. Diving was really cool and I'm so happy that I was able to do it, but I was nervous that I missed a lot here when I was gone. I'm happy to be back and getting into the swing of things again. June is a very busy month for me and on Saturday I'm leaving for Hawaii for two weeks! I was extremely nervous telling the Ron and Laura that I was going on this trip and asked if I should make up the days. I will never forget what Ron said because it was unlike any response I have ever gotten from another boss. He said that I was here working and learning for my benefit, not theirs. That was when I knew that I would enjoy the laid back environment here. We all still do a lot of work and get it done, but there is no pressure and I always feel comfortable to ask a question. This is setting the tone for what I will expect from other work environments in the future and I do not know if I will get this again. Since after this week, I will not be here for two weeks, I want to try to soak up and learn as much as I can before my vacation.
This morning we were chasing leads, like we do every morning, but it went unusually fast this morning. I'm not sure what we are going to be doing after lunch, but a few weeks ago Ron mentioned that we would start doing more hands on things, which I am really looking forward to!
