Ron recently assigned myself and 4 other interns to the 50 project. 50 States, 50 Artists, 50 Stories. Yesterday Shayna and I got started on our checklist; she tackled getting the contact information of public schools across the country for the story component of the project and I created the smashing logo you see above. There's still much to do! We might even continue working on this project through fall, and I'm pretty excited because it's a big responsibility. We still need to create a few more graphics, our social media webpages, mission statement, and we're waiting on our website to be created before we start contacting the bands and bullying victims so we can display our credibility. The question we have for you if any of you find the time to actually read this, is if you know of any original bands personally in any state (including massachusetts) because that would help speed up the process of finding them if we cannot come up with the most ideal search mechanism in the next few weeks.
