Time To Say Goodbye

It's a hard time of the year here at Esente Music Group. The holidays come and bring joy, as well as farewells for the last group of our interns here at the office. 

Today we have to say goodbye to Lauren and Andrea. 

Lauren (featured above with our artist, Becca Levy) is the art director behind The Buzz on Bullying with Becca Levy blog. She's the amazingly talented mastermind behind all our outstanding illustrations and our favorite, the Becca Bees.

Andrea (featured about with our artist, Becca Levy) is one of our incredible public relation and marketing interns. She's been an outstanding member of our team working one-on-one with the President of our company developing our 'Rockstar List.'

We all become close during the internship and hate to see everyone go.

Intern Experience: Recording Session

 

Recently our artist, Becca Levy, came up to Massachusetts for a busy week. 

We had a lot of help from our interns and we were able to give them a unique behind the scenes experience at a real life recording session and video shoot. 

Here's an inside look at what went on!

They helped with the creative process of picking out the best wardrobe.

 

The interns had a behind the scenes look at Professional Photographer, Andrew Swaine, at work. 

Hair and Make up artist were on set to make sure Becca looked amazing. 

We are so glad we are able to show the process of scheduling an event to the interns and that they were able to see the end results.

What Are The Interns Up To?

This pass week our client and National Spokesperson for Right Now Against Bullying, Becca Levy came for a very busy three days! 

The following pictures were taken at Stand Up to Bullying Event at the Tsongas Arena in Lowell, MA.  This was a hugely successful event with over 6,000 students, teachers and advisors attending to take a stand against bullying. 

We were so glad to be able to share this experience with some of our wonderful interns.

Our interns had the opportunity to meet this seasons X Factor contestant Jillian Jensen.

Meet Laura...

Laura is another on of our amazing Graphic Design Interns. She's created numerous drunk driving prevention posters, executive produced a compilation CD and has been researching ideas for a possible event come Spring for one of our clients.

Amanda is another key editor for our blog 'The Buzz on Bullying with Becca Levy.' She's been busy researching, drafting, editing, promoting and improving the blog daily.

What's New In The Office?

We are busy preparing for an anti-bullying event we're participating in, Stand Up to Bullying. 

Yesterday the President, Public Relations Director and Marketing Director of Right Now Against Bullying attended the finalization meeting for the event. 

The event will be featuring the very talented Jillian Jensen, a former contestant from The X Factor that created quite a buzz online with her moving story about her struggle with bullying. 

We are excited for the event and will keep you all posted.

Madeline is one of our contributing editors on The Buzz on Bullying with Becca Levy blog. Some of her responsibilities include researching relevant information, finding new weekly videos, promoting the blog and editing information.

The Intern Experience: Jean Felix

The experience provided the perfect environment for showcasing my talents and having a real impact on the day to day operation of a successful and growing company. Interning helped me be more self- aware of people, helping to get life saving messages out there by promoting to young people. As an Esente intern, I promoted both our music clients and our music based promotional campaigns, and learned the tricks of the trade relative to writing a press release, blogging, social networking, as well as college and traditional media. Interning at Esente was a great experience. I learned more about marketing and pr than any college course has ever taught me. It gave me a better idea of what it's like to work in the music industry.

The Intern Experience: Elise MacDonald

I had the special opportunity to use my skills and photography an Autism Awareness Event. The event helped raised funds for Melmark New England which is a private special needs school located in Andover, MA.

This was a lot of fun! I met a ton of cool people and got to help pose people for their photographs.

- I created posters to combat drunk driving and texting while driving.

- I led a small team of interns in creating a CD to prevent drunk driving     

  through free music. This included finding, contacting, and 

  communicating with dozens of hip hop bands and artists in Austin, 

  Texas, and creating personalized banners for each of the bands that 

  contributed material.

- I was involved in a music and PSA video shoot for a national drunk 

  driving prevention campaign.

- I blogged to local news sites in Wisconsin to promote Becca Levy and 

  Right Now, a nation-wide campaign against bullying.

The Intern Experience: Sarina Gerardi

I was able to be a part of a video shoot with Andrew Swaine. It was easily the best real world experience I have ever had. I was able to help in the scripting of the video and my input was valued. I felt like a part of something and I learned so much. At certain moments we just had to bounce ideas off of one another until we found the right wording. The whole process is involved and every person that is a part of the video shoot must be on their feet at all times. I learned that things do not go as planned and you learn to work around it. It was an exceptional learning experience. Everyone counts, everyone contributes, and everyone cares.
