EMG-Internship, CARSON,MATTHEW- Day 1|Jun 10

It's another Monday afternoon June10th to be exact, and this is my first day and first post on Esente Music Group's blog. I arrived today eager to find what was going to be my first day's work.
They had us start with leads, a type of research one finds accurate websites and their information. Upon finding this information, we then put the correct data into the correct blanks for the company's name, website, email, etc.  I strangely enjoyed this lengthy task. I began to wonder if I had this information prior, would have been able to find better and more accurate businesses and people in which I needed to find? I am enjoying my first day so far, and look forward to hearing others backgrounds and interests.

A guess this is the part where I tell everyone about myself. My name is Matt, everyone has different nicknames for me, so I am sure throughout this internship I will have another or new ones. I currently am enrolled at Keene State in Keene NH. I without a doubt, am going for graphic design, hoping to find myself in Chicago in the future. I found this internship through the help of my strong and stern love and affectionate mother. (It was either this or working late nights to pay off school) I am hoping to gain a lot of community experience and work ethic throughout this process. I also hope to find a solid ground of where I truly work best in the business world. I believe that this will be found through my internship here this summer.
Now, I'm sure everyone has different tastes in music, clearly we are here because we have a collective respect for music, however i'd be really interested in hearing what everyone was listening to that first day. I had forgotten my headphone today, so I only heard subtle hints of what my neighbors where listening to. I think it would be interesting to see if people had a similar taste perhaps based on how they felt today or so it can help them push through the day. I know once I come back Wednesday I will be sure to not forget my headphones.
