Museum of Kicking Ass

Hey

   Today is my...fifth day as an intern? Yesterday the Graphics Interns' art was looked at by Ron and the PR interns...was pretty cool. Was excited and of course, a little nervous about the feedback of my design.  Ron really liked the idea, which was awesome but brought up a great point about how the idea wasn't really coming through..yet, I totally agreed with it.  Also I vocalized about some of my other ideas, and they were well received too!  Ron gave us an anti-inspirational, yet somehow inspirational speech how nothing will get done by the government in the next 5 years. Scary of course but lit a fire under I know my butt, which was the point...I think.  Knowing that I need to steal someone's job and 'bring a gun to a knife fight' was inspirational, I want to learn how to steal someone's job, to kick ass.  The speech was a little confusing, but when Ron gave a similar one today, little different but drove home the ideas.  Ron also talked about how next week the interns are going to be given projects! IM PUMPED!  Im pretty excited today to figure out some more of my concepts for the Anti-Bullying posters, almost forgot! Ron had a great point about the Design interns.  He said that we should "do art at home" which sounds weird but will make sense in a second.  It's not art class, he said he would rather teach us marketing things, social media, things that will allow us to steal someone's job, which is awesome! So I have to start doing the art at home, and preparing myself to kick ass, and take someone's job.  Welcome to the Museum of Kicking Ass.
