You Get What You Give.

Back to work after a long weekend of patriotic festivities. I left last week still working on the 50 project. I'm still in the process of searching for a good amount of prospective bands and bullying stories in my assigned 5 states. It turns out it is more difficult of a procedure than it seems...especially the search for bullying stories. It is difficult to find kids willing to share their stories of being bullied because they are so personal. Not only that, but there is no real search engine for that kind of research like there is for finding bands (reverberation, unsigned.com). Although it can be difficult and time consuming it is enhancing my research skills vastly. I am finding new techniques to find the best results and even discovering new websites that are quite helpful in the researching process.

I think it is just going to take as much help as we can get on the research and a good amount of time allotted to work on this project. We aren't going to get the results Ron wants from this project unless we have the time to dedicate to this project. As the song goes...You get what you give, and that goes for just about anything in life.

Now that the 4th is over and I've already gone on all my planned vacations for the summer I don't really have anything else to look forward to! I think that is what I'll spend my lunch break on....planning my next adventure :)
