A Gorgeous Day... Finally

It's about time it stopped raining! These past seven days have put me in a funk because all I've seen is rain and grey.

I managed to find 50 leads so far, which is a personal best. A lot of the lists out there are still pretty rough, getting maybe 10% from a list.

Yesterday was interesting. I can't remember if I mentioned Ron teaching us how to make a deadly weapon out of a newspaper, but that was pretty awesome. With a newspaper, a piece of duct tape, and 30 seconds, he made a blunt stump that actually would hurt pretty bad if you got hit with it.

That was the fun part of yesterday... well, everyday is fun. But, in terms of meshed with productivity, that wasn't it. I, as well as other interns who weren't already informed, were made aware of the newest project we are to be working on, The 50 Project. This consists of 50 states, 50 bands, and 50 stories of those who have been bullied.

I can honestly say that I am looking forward to this. I can assume that it is going to take more that just the summer to complete this, so I am strongly considering trying to figure out a way where I can put in time here when next semester takes off. I want to be able to say that I saw the project to completion and not just put on my resume.
