Estonian. I don't have much else to say about that.
Tomorrow is the 4th! Just in case you didn't know.
So after being introduced to the 50 project yesterday morning, Ron brought us into his office and showed us some music and talked to us some more about what we would be doing for the rest of the day. He also wants me to bring my flute in one day and play something... it's in my car right now but I haven't played in so long...
Anyway, for the rest of the afternoon the pr and graphics interns split up, and while they brainstormed ways to find bands and people and the system behind all that, we set up a list of ways to do certain parts of the graphics for the project. So we went over the parameters of CD covers, book covers and pages, posters, press releases, and photo storyboarding. We basically decided how things should be done, what should be included in each, and what information we would need to know before certain parts could be completed. Then we had some time left over so we brainstormed ideas for imagery and text that would go on the different media types. I'm not going to lie, though, by the end we were coming up dry with the good ideas; all the ones we had at that point were pretty ridiculous. But it was a good exercise, and having four of us coming up with ideas together definitely helped some things turn from boring or trite to good.
This morning I continued with leads, and I was frustrated once again because there was a solid half hour in which I did not find a single email or contact form. And for the rest of the time most of the businesses listed were either not actually from the city, not from the city anymore, or nonexistent on the internet. So I went through 7 plus pages of businesses and only got as many leads as I've been getting lately. After lunch we're doing more, I believe, so hopefully my luck turns.
