This morning we did Internet marketing research, as usual. We’ve
been preparing for the arrival of two of our artists in August. They will be singing
and shooting both videos and photos. I’m hoping to be able to go to some of the
shoots, I’ve never done anything like that before and it will be really interesting.
Ron explained the different kinds of videos-there are “real”
videos and “fake” videos. “Real” videos involve the use of a hot mic, meaning
that the sound in the video was produced at the time of filming. “Fake” videos
are videos but the sound was produced and mixed beforehand, allowing for more
freedom with editing. It’s still the voice of the singer, it was just sung
before the video was shot. I’m leaving here in a couple weeks to start school
and it’s really cool that I’ll be able to go and experience actual music
production in person.
I hope everyone has a nice weekend!
