The cherry tree
I remember the story of George Washington and the cherry
tree he cut down something that every kid should read. Since in Washington DC
the cherry is a common sight in the nation capital it would make a perfect
symbol for the city not only because of its beauty but more for its relationship
to George Washington the first president plus the city take it name from him
that will be my justification for choosing the cherry tree to symbolized Washington
DC.
