I think this is the first time all summer that I haven't been freezing in the office. I'm definitely not complaining.
This holiday weekend was one of the best I can remember. I saw my college roommates, my friends from high school, and spent time with my family, not to mention got incredibly tan. I basically spent the weekend at the beach, which is my favorite place to be. So now that I am throughly rested after my 5 day weekend, I am ready to jump back into working on The 50 Project. I really want to see this project in motion, so hopefully we will start reaching out to bands and people who have been bullied soon. I am looking forward to choosing from all the different bands and reading everyones stories.
I never thought I'd say this but it seems like every new day of leads goes by faster and faster. But after doing god only knows how many leads, it becomes easier. In the beginning what seemed like torture, is now just morning routine. I'm glad this is the case because it makes mornings a lot more bearable.
I'm looking forward to our intern meeting after lunch, they're always interesting. My latest song obsession has been playing on repeat on my iTunes all morning, Showstopper by Brandon Jenner and his wife Leah, is actually wicked catchy. Until tomorrow...
