Back to Reality

It's back to reality, back to work. Not much to say about what I have done so far today.  So far just working on leads and I am feeling more tired than usual. I got some bad lists so that was annoying but I also got some good lists so it about evened out.  It's always hard to come back to work after a nice long weekend especially when I was doing nothing in the Cape.

Last time I was in we worked on the 50 project more which is proving to be a bit of a challenge.  In order to be successful we must continue to collect different bullying stories and local bands from different states.  The information for my states are coming along slowly but surely and I think we are all making progress. So far I have found 2 potential bullying stories from New Jersey, 1 potential bullying story from New Mexico, 2 potential bullying stories from Nevada, 3 potential bullying stories from New York and 2 potential bullying stories from Ohio.  I'm happy that I at least have one person to contact for each state because as long as we can get one that is all we need.  It is a little bit easier to find potential bands for my states because I can just Google "top hottest local bands in (insert state name here)" and usually find a pretty good list.  However, for certain states such as Nevada and Ohio I am struggling to find them.  I find unlisted.com to be overwhelming so usually I Google first to see what comes up.  In New Jersey I have found 7 potential bands, in New Mexico I have found 7 potential bands, in Nevada I haven't found any yet but I'm still looking, in New York I have found 6 potential bands and in Ohio I have found none yet but am still looking.  Today I think I need to go back to the bands websites because as someone pointed out I need to make sure their music is the right type of music for this project and I have yet to really listen to the bands.  After doing that some bands may be eliminated but it will be better in the long run because we want more rock bands to really fit with Becca Levy's style of music.

Hopefully today I will make more progress in my states for the 50 project!
