Teamwork

The 50 Project is coming along. Yesterday we compiled email templates to reach out to the potential bands and bullying stories....creating 3 contact templates for each. We did this to make our "sending" and replying process easier. The first template is the basics of what the 50 project is, why we are reaching out to this person, and what we are asking for. The second template would be what we would send after we get the first reply, and the third template for the second reply. Creating these templates allows for a quicker process to respond to all the potential bands that reply. We will be able to open up the templates document and simply rework what needs to be said each time instead of creating an entirely new email each time. I also worked on collecting bands from Reverbnation.com yesterday. There are thousands of bands out there on Reverbnation.com so we talked about trying to find a way to discover the most popular in each state. At this point we are still collecting and working together to complete the first part of this project.

This project is really a great experience for teamwork. It is giving me the experience of working with others and collaborating with different personalities. For me, teamwork is much harder than working on my own so I am appreciating this opportunity to enhance my teamwork skills.
