Don't Judge a Novelist by their State of Residency

Going into the entertainment business, my tongue is fleshy and raw from being bitten so much. Ouch. And I'll leave it at that. Yup, I'm a Writing, Literature, and Publishing major, but I think the key to being open minded would initially be to, you know, not judge the novelist by their cover the same way you would any book. That's why today felt like a sketch from SNL. I wish my family and friends could have witnessed Ron describe the exact opposite of my person in every way through his idea of what I must think because I'm an artist. He burst into a delightful inferno but the irony was killing me. Mama would be so proud.

What I mean is today we had an intern meeting that blew my mind. I might be witnessing fate here, who knows. Ron spoke to us with the voice and demeanor of, well, it was a very familiar tone. All I can say is don't judge a book by it's cover. As I sat there fidgeting tirelessly it was not because I was ready to jump out of my skin and fume with youthful hippie angst, but to agree (cue the angry glares and declarations of hate). Let's just say I'm sure all the other interns will despise me if I exclaim my personal political beliefs. I was always told to whisper my truths, so to speak, so with the very elusive and not at all hinting manner of explaining that I am not exactly what you'd call a typical Massachusetts stereotype for a Bostonian collegiate (I only dress like a hipster), I had a great deal of fun today!

Second day: success. I hope everyone else is having fun, too.

I really don't want to feel like Snow White, but it's all good, brah.
