Deadly Weapon Day

I didn’t know I would be learning how to make a deadly weapon in 29 seconds today. I didn’t really think I would ever learn how to make a deadly weapon, I mean I whittled a pretty mean stick back in the day, but I’ve never fought anyone so I’ve never felt the need to make a weapon. I think if I’m ever in a jam I will actually make the newspaper/duct tape creation Ron showed us though, if only to make myself feel better. I won’t go into details of the process because if everyone who reads this blog post makes one (re: everyone in the world) we will have less of an advantage.

The 50 project is in full swing. We did leads this morning, as usual, but will be working on it again this afternoon. Every intern is on the project now and we had another meeting about it with Ron this morning. It will be cool once we start actually contacting people and receiving content from people around the country (is it weird that I dreamed about a big checklist of all 50 states last night?). I think that the project will go quickly with everyone working on it and a lot of productive collaboration has already happened which is awesome. Ron keeps talking about the “mechanism” by which we will find our participants. It’s kind of like all work that goes into creating a mathematical formula. It’s hard work, but once you have it you can just go. Excited to see how much we get done today!

Have a great day!
