My search for leads for OnPoint Media today was focused around businesses in Dorchester; I found 38. After lunch, I was assigned two articles. One was for the Stop Drunk Driving Now website, and the other was for Right Now Against Bullying. The article for drunk driving was about a teenager who was arrested after posting a status to Facebook about driving drunk; it was very interesting. The other article, for the bullying website, was about a 6-year-old transgender first grader whose parents filed a complaint about discrimination after their child was told she could no longer use to girls' restroom at school. The article raised some interesting questions and was a good look into the troubles that individuals in that situation face.
