Lately, I have been working hard on the Buzz on Bullying website and have been messing around with pictures (see above). Now, I'm no graphic artist by any means but I am passionate about the the anti-bullying cause, giving myself a chance to just relax and get creative. Reviewing articles, I came across two that really made me think (which are both posted on the site!). One is about Rebecca Marino calling it quits in the tennis world after cyber-bullying has caused her grief. This drives me crazy that the internet where innovative ideas are shared and created is used as a tool for harm. The second story is about a high school student named Kayla Miller who has been teach kids to be an 'Upstander' rather than a 'Bystander'. Its so important to be aware of your surroundings and know when to go into action for someone in need. Bullying doesn't end in school.
