This week has brought recent changes. Until now, daily schedules consisted mostly of contact collections for media lists and OnPoint Media clients, but now has shifted in a different direction. The interns and I participated in an interesting exercise yesterday geared to measure how we organize and collect data as a team quickly. My team was asked to make a system for organizing a chaotic bag of hallmark cards containing different content and themes. The system we devised was to separate each cards into a pile based on its message. For example, there was a holiday card pile, birthday card pile, and thank you card pile etc. Once each was categorized, we match each card with an envelope and filed them into folders for future organization. The exercise enforced teamwork, strategy, and punctuality. I found it very useful and interesting.
