Why Does Columbus Have So Many Radio Stations?

While gathering the contact information for various radio stations across Ohio I discovered that Columbus has at least 28 radio stations. Why does Columbus alone need so many radio stations?

Today in a meeting Ron split the interns up into several small groups and assigned us all different tasks in preparation to launch the One Night Stand Anti- Bullying campaign. We will be sponsoring concerts at many different venues throughout the country where bands will be playing to help raise awareness of the truths and tragedies of bullying. This is where that comprehensive media list I have been working on will be put to use.

Our particular assignment is to research and devise a plan (if possible) on how to use IndieGoGo to promote and raise money for the campaign. Luckily I have a head start on this because of all the time I have spent on IndieGoGo investigating the possibility of using it to promote/fund raise a a campaign for Becca Levy's RIGHT NOW Anti-Bullying cause. Using IndieGoGo for One Night Stand might be a little tricky because we will be working with multiple different bands and it may be a chore trying to coordinate all of their efforts.
