This week our goal (as interns) is to finish the "National Anthem List", a database of venues for Esente Music Group artists Becca Levy and Jayna Linginger to perform at sporting events. This has mostly been a lot easier than the media or lead lists. It's not always easy to know who to contact but the information is a lot more accessible than it is on say, college newspapers or radio stations. I've heard that info on high school tournaments is hard to come by, but so far professional and college teams have been a breeze. This is probably because the people in charge of these lists went to colleges with things like sports teams and business classes, which I and many others missed out on in our liberal arts delusion-sphere. It's refreshing to know that there are still some people who are all business and have bigger concerns than creativity. Even if I'd rather not know them personally, it's good to know they're out there, making things slightly easier for the rest of us.
