Creating A Mechanism

Today upon arrival at Esente, I began finishing up the list of businesses in Brookline, MA to research for OnPoint Media. Last Thursday when I was at the office, I was working on a list under "Real Estate". Today I finished this list and moved onto businesses filed under "E-Commerce and IT Outsourcing". I was only able to find a handful of these potential clients before we had an intern meeting with Ron.

While in this meeting, Ron wanted to bring us up to date on when certain projects should come to completion. Some of these projects include the state media lists and the lists for National Anthems. This idea behind this latter list, is to look for venues that could potentially host either Becca Levy or Jayna Lininger to sing the National Anthem in various states throughout New England, and several other sporadic states.

Ron also explained how he intends to create a mechanism, which can be applied across a slew of projects for both Esente Music Group and OnPoint Media as well. This makes sense, considering once we develop on idea, it can be used to cross over into several projects. Why create numerous approaches to one general problem, when you could generate one great idea and apply it across a number of tasks and projects? Once we develop and execute this mechanism, we can get more than one use from it. Don't fix what isn't broken.

After the meeting, I began taking screen shots and notes of a video from which us interns will develop into a similar, yet different idea for Esente and OnPoint. While we will draw inspiration from this video, we will create one that is specifically for the two aforementioned companies. I think this is a great idea that will inevitably promote messages for both Esente Music Group and OnPoint Media.
