This morning; the struggle for leads continues...in the epic four-way battle between the Google search engine, Manta search engine, companies that haven't bother with websites, and myself, I'm pleased to say that forward progress was made once again. However the increments are so tiny that it is still ultimately a little discouraging. But I have learned that figuring out how to 'copy & paste' without using the cursor seems to have increased my productivity slightly. I am also beginning to find that searching Facebook for a company's contact info has yielded better results than I had originally experienced. The next obvious hurdle is making quick decisions about whether or not a company is too big to be interested in OnPoint Media's services. A lot of software companies seem to have multiple offices but their websites still look pretty terrible nonetheless. Previously I had been deciding on the basis that if I'd never heard of them, they are not too big. However I've been considering lately, since I still can't figure how to logout of Gmail on my smartphone, they may very well have invented anything from the Internet or scrambled eggs and I still probably wouldn't have heard of them. It's becoming more and more clear that this is not just a menial task, there is real skill involved here.
