Yesterday after lunch we had a small photo shoot of all the interns that were in. There was a small space set up in one of the side offices to get our portraits for the intern website. I just hope my hair looked alright.
Today we started work for producing the shows for the One Night Stand anti-bullying concert series. We have been using the website ReverbNation to compile the contact information of bands in specific areas so we will be able to get in touch with them easily. I am responsible for hard rock bands in Tampa Florida. The website proved to be more of a hassle to use than expected because you pretty much need to have a user account to browse freely. Otherwise the site blocks use for a period of time.
It's a nice change of pace from the normal information gathering because we get to listen to the songs these bands have recorded and the interns need to talk to each other since some of us are working on the same list of bands. We also may or may not have made some snide comments about the bands choices in names, songs, attire, etc. But all in all the bands arent' bad.
