Let the Games Begin

Yesterday was a very busy day. We finally got to meet Becca, and we finally got to get things rolling with the IndieGoGo promotional campaign. I met with the group of interns for just about the entire day writing the outlines and scripts for the different videos we are shooting with Becca. She is shooting five different videos for five separate purposes. Things got a little hectic because we were pretty much writing the scripts as Becca needed them and we fell a little behind. But we kept plugging through and got the scripts we needed done so Becca was able to use them. We did however run into some snags with the filming. Background noise and lighting proved to be a problem with a busy street just outside and with the main light source slowly going down into night. We are attempting to fix this problem by changing locations within the building.

Today all the interns met with Ron about the music video for Becca's cover of "Fix You." The video looks great but just needed some tweaking for the final edits. The main challenge is bringing the video from "down" to "up." Since the main focus of the video is on suicides caused by bullying it is mostly a depressing somber tone. But we want to bring the mood up towards the end and show Becca doing what she can to make a difference so the video ends on a happy note, sort of to show that there is a light at the end of the tunnel for victims of bullying.

Now that the projects we are working on are starting to get underway things are a lot more interesting and fast paced around here. I can't image how it will be once we have all the different projects rolling at once.
