One Night Stand

Today started off a little different than usual. What I mean by this is that the interns didn't start working on the leads first thing upon arrival. Instead of starting the day off with Internet research for OnPoint Media, we started to research bands for the One Night Stand. In order to look into potential bands for the One Night Stand campaign, we began by looking at ReverbNation.com. We were each given five pages on bands to go through and see if any were worthy of adding to the list. One Night Stand will feature live sets by bands all over the country who will perform at various venues, local to the bands. The bands for One Night Stand are all rock-centered musicians and artists who we hope will be interested in supporting Right Now, as well as promoting themselves.

Just as I was writing this, Ron called the interns into his office to watch a video for the song Fix You that was recorded by Becca. While Becca was up for her visit, she worked on another video that would go along to the aforementioned song. The song features Becca singing in front of a black backdrop with white lights and various outside shots, ie. the blustery winter storm we had while she was visiting. The video originally wasn't planned, but they took advantage of Becca's visit in order to create more content for her YouTube channel. Both this video and the video that Valerie produced are great, and can't wait for others to be able to see them!

Once I finish up the blog today, I plan to work on leads for about an hour and a half before going back researching potential bands for One Night Stand. The wheels are spinning and we're moving forward with all the projects we've been talking about. It's starting to heat up and things are becoming even more interesting as we continue moving forward.
