Recently, the interns and I have begun composing what is
referred to as a media list. The objective of each list is to collect as many
contacts from as many media sources as possible including newspapers, radio
stations, and TV stations to send press releases about our music clients.
Hopefully, these media sources will promote our clients and help spread our
social message against bullying and drunk driving.
Each list is categorized based on state and the type of
media source and, more importantly, the contact information of the editors and
content directors. The idea is to collect many editors from each source in
hopes that a few will feature our clients and our messages will reach the
largest audience possible.
