There are various key elements we have to analyze in order to see what aspects websites are lacking in order to have a successful portal that helps them expand their business.
After having analyzed a number of websites, I have come to realize that many businesses just don't update their websites, or even try to add any information to them. Most of them are in a current state of backwards disrepair, having little working knowledge on coding and computer programing, even I know that it would just be easier to create a new website for some companies, instead of trying to update, or make the current one better.
People don't know how make their business presentable online, and have a hard time creating a good website. In this day & age, it is essential for any company to have a good, polished, modern looking website, since it creates a lot of credibility for the business, and attracts potential customers.
Not having a mobile website, is one of the big mistakes made by a lot of the small companies. Most people do most of their browsing on their mobile devices, so not having the option to access your business website through a mobile device is a big mistake.
I've learnt a lot these past few days about the to do's and dont's of building a website. It's all helping me have an idea of the complications many business owners have when starting a company, the website being one of them. Now more than ever, have I come to realize how important it is to have a professional looking website.
