Another exciting day at the office. Today I spent the beginning half of my day finishing up and sending out new press releases to New Jersey and Washington D.C. hoping to gain some more exposure for Jayna and for the 12 Pack of Life campaign. A few more bites today, including some new Rhode Island leads.
Afterwards, we spent time researching and commenting on country music websites and blogs trying to stir interest in Jayna by associating her and her website with other popular country artist's songs, videos, and news. Hopefully, our efforts will be recognized by generating more traffic to Jayna's Facebook fan page.
Later we had a meeting with Ron, listening in on him call the Rhode Island lead that we got today at a local newspaper there. It was beneficial to hear him wheeling and dealing on the phone, talking up Jayna and the 12 Pack of Life project. I know I'm still new to the group, but it must be a great feeling for the other interns to see the hard work they've been doing all summer paying off in small ways here and there paving the way for bigger steps in the coming months. Through going through all the steps of trying to create wedges and a platform for Jayna to stand on, I am already starting to learn and grasp the ideas and methods that would make someone successful in running a winning marketing and public relations campaign.
I'm looking forward to what the next week has to offer here at Esente.
Until then...
