When taking pictures don't forget to turn on the Flash. Flood.

While sitting in the office today, the table began thundering with the sound of vibrating, buzzing phones. It turns out that the National Weather Service issued a flash flood warning for the town of Beverly. Not only is this an uncommon occurence in this area, but combined with the constant downpouring and wind, the view out our windows was not something we enjoyed. Dampened spirits or not, we soldiered on in the name of Esente and focused the day on perfecting the second in a series of press releases for the 12 pack campaign.

Putting our heads together, we worked to create content that talked about the bands involved in the project, with the caveat that the content had to be editable for each region we sent it out to. Compiling quotes from Laura, our project manager, and Jayna, our main musician, was another task put on our plate. Using quotes from both major parties will help to add punch to the press packets.

We spent the remainder of the day sending out the aforementioned press releases to collected media contacts and worked on tailoring each email to their respective states. Overall, another great experience in marketing and PR work, hopefully to prove useful in the future.

That's all for today readers, but stay dry, stay safe, and don't forget to wear your raincoat!
