So much sensitivity

Today we started off the day with a long meeting in Ron's office. A breadth of topics were discussed, from Israel to feminists. After that we sat down and I started working on photoshop and made some fan art for Jayna. The two I made are attached right underneath. It was definitely nice to work on photoshop for the day.

The Estente (August lull)

Once upon a midday dreary, while I pondered weak and weary,
Over many a quaint and curious group of forgotten emails,
While I designed, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tinging,
As of some one gently ringing, ringing at the email inbox.
`'Tis some band,' I muttered, `tinging at my email inbox -
Only this, and nothing more?’

Ah, distinctly I remember it was in the lull of August,
And each separate band wrought its email without a song.
Eagerly I wished the sign; - vainly I had sought to find a line.
From my unchecked surcease of sorrow - sorrow for the lost songs -
For the rare and radiant temptress whom the angels name Vermont-
Nameless here for evermore… (vermont)….

Today was another day of poster designs and researching animation options. Tomorrow will be my last day working here as well as my Birthday! I will also be unveiling the finished product from Ron's casting!

New Intern

Hi, I'm Angela - one of the new interns here at Esente! I'm a senior Public Relations major at Suffolk University. I'm looking forward to spending the next semester learning from Esente and gaining a hands-on PR experience. It's only been one week into this internship and I already feel like it's a great fit. Although I spent over ten years singing and songwriting, I'm hoping to pursue a career in the music industry, focusing on artist development. Besides music, I enjoy reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors. I also love dogs, so one of my favorite parts about the Esente internship is coming into the office and seeing Bennie. Dogs just make everything better. All of the interns I've met have had nothing but positive words to say about their experience here at Esente, so I am excited for what's to come!

Frustrated by a computer

Computers were not my friend today.  My school email and website decided to logout and not recognize my password today after I had to register for classes.  It took a long time to figure out how to get that working again and it was not fun.  As far as the work we did we worked on the band cover photos.  Another thing that was hard to work with today was dropbox since we somehow filled up the Esente dropbox.  We couldn't upload anything since it was full. We also worked on poster designs.

It's august already

Today we started off doing some bullying and drunk driving posts, and then went into editing the posters for the different states. We had lunch, and then I started working on a drunk driving poster, which is going to be right underneath this post. It was definitely pretty quiet today, and we only had 4 interns in. And we only heard Ron's bass heavy music once or twice today.

Last week

Just two days left for me after today here at Esente. The office was much more quiet than usual, and the intern room was less than half filled. We began the day by writing a couple of blogs for the stop drunk driving now blog, and the bullying blog as well. After that, we edited the album covers and cover photos for each of the bands. This afternoon I promoted Jayna through various country music blogs, and also helped promote our drunk driving facebook page by posting it to other drunk driving awareness pages on the internet.
