Spread your wings and fly (goodbye)

Today, we were met with heartbreaking news... Our co leader Zack Feronius Solomon Barry has received payed employment at his university and will no longer grace us with his wit, strength and courage. We wish him luck as he travels to new heights in the world outside of unpaid internships.

Annyyway, the day started out with a long meeting discussing the life and times of Ronald Bellanti Jr. Lots of inspiration to start off the day. After our meeting, we began searching the interwebs for articles on our project. So far we have two in New York and one in Maine. Throughout the day, we came up with quotes for Jayna that we can add into future press releases. After lunch, I went through all of the emails and made sure no one was left unresponded to.

Swole Feather has left the nest

Today we lost one of our fearless leaders "swole feather" also know as Zack. It was a tough loss because he was one of the main leaders in our project. Fortunately we have made enough progress on the project that it will be out and successful despite this dramatic loss. Today we got started with a long meeting filled with "inspiration and motivational tips" as said by Dillon. After that we started editing the Jayna Lininger quotes and finding out where all the bands home towns were in order to get them more publicity. After all these activities the day seemed to fly by! Until next time, the hawk is leaving the next.

Lost One by Jay Z ft. Zach

Today we lost Zach :(

We started the day with a long but productive meeting! Really enjoyed where the conversation headed. Today was another productive day as well, we were able to make the list of quotes longer, start the list for newspapers from artists' hometown and we were published in three newspapers! Super excited about that and am happy we are actually getting the word out and newspapers are featuring us! I'm hoping to see many more in the upcoming days! Tomorrow will for sure be jam packed when we call all the newspapers and artists!

Day 20

Today we got some real life work for the new website Floorplan. We had to make icons in illustrator all day, which was extremely tedious. It was cool to be working on something different than the posters and CD covers for a change. We did break away from them to look at the in progress CD covers, but went right back to icons soon after. AHHH no more icons!!!!

Localized

Today at Esente we started the day with a long meeting, filled with life lessons and motivational tips. Then the PR interns did some research to see if our press releases had been published. We then edited around 20 quotes from Jayna which we will use to promote the crowd-funding site. At the end of the day I made a list of all the bands and their hometowns so we can target specific newspapers and hopefully get some positive feedback.

lost another one

Unfortunately, we lost another intern today. However, we finished the quotes to send out along with our press releases for newspapers to publish around the areas of each band. This way Jayna can get more publicity, as well as our 12 pack of life project. So far we have had three newspapers publish our press releases, and I'm sure there will be many more to follow. This afternoon we continued to localize the bands so we can start sending out more press releases to gain some more publicity. We set a plan for the rest of the week, and I will be back in on Thursday to finish off the week.

The Esente in the Stone

Today we began designing the new cd covers and finishing up old projects! Apparently tomorrow we're starting on real projects with no feelings spared. That will be all.
