Second Day in the Office

Today is my second day here at Esente. Yesterday I spent most of my time checking out different websites and projects we're associated with and working on. I also read and summarized some articles about bullying and drunk driving to be possibly used for future blog posts on those campaign blogs. Today I'm making a list of fairs, festivals, amusement parks, and malls located in PA along with the contact person, website, email, phone number, etc. This is for Esente's music artist Jayna Lininger. So far it's a laidback day casually working at my own pace. It's interesting going to these different websites and seeing the caliber of the design of the page compared to the size of the event. Some are very low-scale and obviously volunteer made and others are quite sleek and impressive.

End of week 4

Staying busy here at Esente! The projects are going well, I'm always happy to add to the team. This week flew by, I'm looking forward to next week.

Ice Cold!

Made it to the Esente office today, it was a chilly walk from the car this morning at 10 degrees. I'm working on my fourth week already and I've been involved with a photo shoot, logo designs, drunk driving campaigns and a whole lot more. I look forward to working on some new and exciting projects in the near future.

First Day at Esente

Today is my first day as a public relations intern at Esente Music Group. My name is Kayleigh and I'm a 5th year senior out of Salem State University. My major is communications with a concentration in advertising and a minor in marketing. Even though it's not my degree concentration, I'm really interested in public relations and am involved in my campus' chapter of PRSSA, which is the Public Relations Student Society of America. Because it's not my concentration, I attend various workshops and conferences trying to learn more about PR so I can be as well-rounded in communications as possible. I'm hoping this internship is exactly what I need to help me expand on this and get some hands-on experience to the inner workings of a company. Outside of academics, I spend most of my free time at the barn. Ever since I was very young, I've been extremely passionate about horses and riding and this has followed be into my adult life. I still ride as much as possible and have even been a riding instructor and competitor in the past. My horse Kate is as spoiled as can be and I enjoy being able to spend as much time with her as I can.

I've spent my time at Esente thus far looking at their various media trying to get a good feel to what it's all about and the type of projects I'll be involved with. I'm looking forward to becoming more immersed in their campaign work and growing professionally through it.

week 3 esente

Working on promotional material for Esente's up and coming country artist. I'm looking forward to getting involved with the promotional process and the behind the scenes of the music industry. The weeks are flying by and I can't get enough of music and design. Now that I have been here for a few weeks I'm getting a grasp of what each company member does and I can see that Esente has a hard charging team. It's a great experience being here and by the end of this internship I believe I will understand a whole new way to apply my graphic design skills.

One more day!!!

This morning I sent more leads.  Each different day I send more leads in less time!
Now I´m back with the radio stations contacts. Exactly with the Universities Radio Stations from New York, there are to much!!!

Photo Shoot

Begun putting my photography skills to work today at a photo shoot for a new web page build. The day started early, out on the road at 6a.m. to meet up with Jen Esente's lead photographer. We drove to the clients company and got to work. A couple hours of product shots and are job was done. The photography side of graphic design is a strong area for me so I intend to put it to work and bring my skills to Esente.

One month like Esente Music inter!!

Today I spent the morning doing leads with the intention of getting more customers.
Then we had a meeting in which Ron has explained to us the duties of a music manager.
He has also told us the current project where Esente Music Group is involved now, and he asked us how far we want to get involved in the music industry. I certainly know that I will get involved as much as possible!

The days go by fast

Week two day two already finished. New projects poping up to get involved with, starting this week. Begun doing some research on key terms within the music industry to have a better grasp on the job. There is a lot to learn and I have a long way to go but its a great journey.

Internship week 2

working on campaign number two this week! There is nothing more fun then coming up with creative solutions and using my knowledge of the adobe suite to make it happen. Getting to know a bit of the music industry as well I can already tell this is the type of work that I have been looking for.

I´m lovin´ it!!!

I'm still working on Music Festivals, and I love it!
It is interesting to see the organization that has every different festival.
I love music festivals and I had never stopped to think about all the work that is behind, organizers, workers, volunteers...
I am thinking that maybe is the next job that I want to have, it´s very funny!!! This is difficult, but you know that IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING!

Welcome to the Country Music!

HI!
To start the year with energy I have to make a list of Country Music Festivals in 2014.  While I do it I have started to listen American Country Music. In Spain we do not have this type of music and I like it.

3rd day on the job

Moving on to my second campaign, this one will be for standing up against bullying. I have my concept ideas started and I'm ready to do some photography and put together a great add campaign. Today is the last day of my first week as an intern, I'm getting the feel for the Esente Music Group and can't wait for next week.

Day two coming to a close

Knocked out some awesome work today! Started a brand new in your face campaign for drunk driving awareness. I'm  happy to be working on graphics that will have an impact and hopefully save a life. This is the type of work I had in mind when I started my journey into the industry.

DAY 1 internship at esente

I'm a graphic designer looking to get into the music industry and Esente is the first step. Today I Spent time getting to know the Esente Music Group, and the avenues that they use to bring musicians closer to their dreams of becoming known artists. The team works hard and created a welcoming environment to learn from. I give them a thumbs up and can't wait for day 2!
